Who pays placed temp-to-hire employees?

For temp-to-hire placements, RSS Talent Partners acts as the employer of record. We handle payroll, taxes, benefits, unemployment, and workers’ compensation, while clients pay a single billable rate and focus on evaluating the employee’s fit.


Employees have access to a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with additional incentive programs based on eligibility.

What does RSS charge for services?

Our pricing is designed to align with the level of search and impact of the hire.


For direct-hire placements, fees typically range from 20% to 30% of the candidate’s first-year salary, depending on the role's complexity.


For retained searches, one-third of the estimated fee is paid upfront and applied toward the total cost. This allows for a more focused and dedicated search process.


We also offer customized temp-to-hire and payroll solutions based on wages, Workers’ Compensation, and job requirements.


We work with each client to ensure clear expectations, transparent pricing, and a focus on long-term hiring success.
